Engaging Youth for Positive Change

LSS Overview

Lal Sabuj Society (LSS) is a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring young people to become activists and leaders. We focus on nurturing responsibility, leadership, and a spirit of volunteerism, enabling youth to grow and make meaningful contributions throughout their lives. Our key areas of work include climate action, mental health, protection and skill development, all aimed at building a peaceful and sustainable world for everyone.

Our Focus

Climate Action

Through youth engagement and volunteerism, we promote climate activism, raise awareness, conduct research, and advocate for policy change. Our work spans grassroots to global levels, focusing on climate adaptation, mitigation, and justice.

Mental Health

We are committed to enhancing emotional well-being across communities. Through youth-led initiatives, we advocate for mental wellness, provide support services, and conduct awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote a healthier, more inclusive society.

Protection

We empower vulnerable groups by educating children on safe touch, offering self-defense training for women, running online safety campaigns, preventing child drowning, and advocating for animal protection to ensure safety and well-being for all.

Media Action

We empower youth in journalism and media to advocate for human rights. Through comprehensive training programs, we build their capacity and provide a dedicated platform, Lal Sabuj Prokash, for amplifying their voices and shining a spotlight on critical issues.

Skill Development

We organize skill training programs for youth, covering leadership, organizational development, CV creation, and graphic design, among others. Our goal is to enhance both soft and technical skills, equipping young people for empowerment.

Humanitarian Action

We help communities in need with planned support and care. So, we give vital aid to the vulnerable people, helping them to stay strong during their tough times. We work to make a real difference and promote dignity within everyone.

Our Achievement

We have achieved significant milestones in creating positive change. From spearheading impactful climate action initiatives to fostering mental health awareness, ensuring women’s protection, and facilitating skill development, LSS has left an indelible mark on society.
